Your Life has Purpose
Many reading this
article have believed a lie that has hindered you most of your life. The lie is
this; that your life is worthless. This has caused you to question your very
existence on earth, opened you up to severe depression, and even caused some to
contemplate suicide. Some of these feelings may be rooted from childhood abuse
and rejection issues. For others it may be the abandonment of a spouse or
special person. While others of you continue to carry guilt from wrong choices
in your life. These negative emotions have hindered the relationships in your
life and have caused you to draw back from giving or receiving love from others.
For many, the emotional torment has even affected your physical health. I have
good news for you today. You can be set free from this lie that has caused so
much pain in your life!
First, you need to realize that God Himself formed you in your mother's womb
(Jeremiah 1:5). You were not a mistake regardless of what someone may have told
you.
Secondly, because you are so valuable to God, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to
take the punishment for your sin so that you could live free from bondage and
escape an eternity in hell. If you have not received Jesus Christ as your Lord
and Savior, now is the time to do so. When you enter into a relationship with
Him, you are entitled to the benefits laid out in His Word. This brings me to my
third point. You must renew your mind by reading and studying the Bible on a
daily basis. The Bible is God speaking to you. What an awesome fact! The Creator
of all things cared so much about you that He left instructions on how to live a
life of blessing and victory! The more you read the Bible; your God-given
purpose will become clearer to you. There is no other person on this earth like
you. You are an original that cannot and will not be replaced!
Lastly, you need to be connected to a Bible believing church that will help you
grow spiritually by feeding you the Word of God and nurturing the gifts and
talents that God has given you to minister to others. There is one common
characteristic in people that have emotional issues. They have a tendency to
focus on themselves and not on the needs of others. When a person begins to help
others, healing will begin to take place in their emotions and they will sense
joy, satisfaction, and purpose.
Now it is up to you. Will you continue to believe the same old lie of the devil
that has kept you in bondage for so long, or will you rise up and tap into the
grace of God that will cause healing and victory to come into every area of your
life? God is waiting for you to make that decision.
