Actor or Ambassador?
An ambassador for the Lord Jesus Christ is radical and dedicated to advance the Kingdom of God on this earth. The word radical is defined as “departing markedly from the usual or customary or seeking to make drastic reforms in society.” This is exactly what the Lord Jesus Christ has called us as Christians to do on this earth; to depart from the usual or customary in the world’s eyes and to make drastic reforms in society. An ambassador takes his mission seriously as a representative and is committed to the one that has sent him or her.
Jesus rebuked the ‘religious’ Pharisees for being hypocrites. The Greek word in the New Testament that is translated hypocrite means one who is playacting, reading a script, or one who puts on an act; an actor. Jesus said that it is possible to honor Him with your lips, while your heart is far from Him (Matthew 15:7-9). That is called hypocrisy. There is a great and mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit that is about to take place in this area (go to our website to read the prophecies, etc), and it is going to separate the actors from the ambassadors. Everything that can be shaken in your personal life and in this area as a whole will be shaken. Only that which is founded upon the Word of God and the Lord Jesus Christ will stand. Instead of being motivated by love and devotion to Jesus Christ as an ambassador, actors or hypocrites are motivated by pride and self-promotion. An actor loves to promote their own opinions instead of embracing the vision that the Lord has given to their Pastor. Rebellion is at the very center of a hypocrite’s heart. God’s plan is very simple for the Christian when it comes to the local church. Get connected to the Bible believing, Jesus exalting church that God leads you to, and submit yourself under that leadership and vision. I want you to notice the kind of local church that God will lead you to; a “Bible believing, Jesus exalting church.” If you don’t trust your Pastor, one of two things is happening: you are either attending a church that God didn’t tell you to attend or you are in flat out rebellion against the leadership and vision that the Lord has placed you under for your own spiritual protection and growth. What many “church hoppers” and “church avoiders” don’t understand is that they are hindering their own spiritual growth and life by not getting planted in the church that God has called them to. They fail to realize that their blessing and spiritual provision is in that place.
The unsaved look at a hypocrite who calls himself/herself a Christian, and is totally turned off to the gospel of Jesus Christ. The unsaved cannot and will not decipher between an actor and a true ambassador. All that the world takes note of is that you call yourself a Christian. Let me give you a deep spiritual truth; everyone that calls themselves a Christian is not a Christian. Just because a person goes to church once or twice a week doesn’t make them a Christian. Just because I stand in my garage doesn’t make me a car! I believe the definition of a disciple or an ambassador for Jesus Christ has been watered down in much of the Body of Christ. There are many Christians that are guilty of treason in the courts of heaven because of promoting satan’s kingdom instead of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The glorious outpouring of the Holy Spirit is about to shake this area in a way that has never happened before. It is time for the true ambassadors for Jesus Christ to stand up, make their voices heard, and to use the authority that He has given them over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19)! When Christians take their rightful place in the earth, the Name, Blood and Power of the Lord Jesus Christ will triumph over evil around the world! It is time to be radical for Jesus!
